Champaign Co History Museum Reopening May 8

The Champaign County History Museum is happy to announce that they will be reopening on Saturday, May 8. They will be limiting admissions to a maximum of six at any given time, and everyone must wear a mask.
The Harris Mansion Heist exhibition is ongoing, and is being by three new exhibits:
1) "William McKinley's Road of Good Service" about William McKinley and the Illinois Traction System.
2) "Ispirato da Torre di Civita: The Paintings of Marajen Stevick Chinigo." Mrs. Chinigo was the long-time publisher of Champaign's The News-Gazette and we feature eleven of her paintings that were inspired by her Italian villa, the Torre di Civita.
3) "Zuppke en la Playa: Sketches of a Gridiron Great." Features biographical information on long-time Illinois football coach Bob Zuppke and sketches he did during a trip to Cuba visiting Earnest Hemmingway.
